Shutterstock has entered into an exclusive editorial partnership with Condé Nast to represent The Condé Nast Collection – one of the most important and historic archives in the world.

The partnership gives Shutterstock global customers access to photos, illustrations and magazine covers, dating back to 1892, providing a chronicle of fashion’s most prolific moments and content still to be discovered.


The Condé Nast Archive is a virtual chronological archive of the 20th century, seen through the eyes of renowned photographers, including Edward Steichen, Horst P. Horst, Cecil Beaton, John Rawlings, Bert Stern and Arthur Elgort, and will be part of Shutterstock’s archive, The Vault.


Archived content provides countless opportunities for authentic storytelling for brands, production, and media. The collection also acts as a great educational tool, making history accessible and inspiring for all. The appeal of nostalgia has increased over the last year – as consumers seek to indulge and find comfort from years past, the Condé Nast collection opens up endless opportunities for content creators to meet meet this cultural need.


The collection will be part of Shutterstock Editorial’s The Vault archive, which has more than 50 million photo and video assets, making it one of the largest photo and video repositories in the world.
